Desert Pear Margarita
We have been having perfect fall weather, so we decided to take a drive down to Galveston to meet up with friends, celebrate birthdays, and take a one hour boat tour to see if we could spot any dolphins. Willie G’s is located at Pier 21 and has a magnificent view of the water from inside the restaurant as well as the outdoor patio area. Perfect place to meet up with friends, have a nice meal, and of course try out their margaritas.
Just look at that beautiful view as we dined. Willie G’s has an extensive wine and beer menu, along with some signature drinks, but unfortunately only one offering for margaritas. The Desert Pear Margarita is a premium frozen margarita with prickly pear puree.
The Desert Pear Margarita was good, and upon the first sip you can taste the mild flavor of pear. We gave this margarita 3 1/2 margarita glasses.
We had a wonderful evening enjoying the mild fall weather on the beautiful patio while celebrating birthdays with friends and ending with a few yummy desserts.
