El Jefe

We first tried the El Jefe several years ago at the Katy, Tx location and found it to be a good 4+ margarita glass margarita rating. This visit tothe Dickinson location was not the best service and the El Jefe was not on point on this Sunday afternoon. The El Jefe should be a nice top shelf with a blend of Maestro Dobel Diamante, a tequila the menu describes as coming from hand-selected private barrels, Agavero Orange Liqueur and fresh citrus, topped with a grilled orange. Our memory of the first El Jefe in Katy and the tequila blend aged in-house and dripped over orange slices is nice enough that we will give the El Jefe another try at a different location.
