The Great Margarita Hunt

House Frozen Margarita

Top Shelf on the rocks

If you are not leaving the port and want a good margarita with xylophone music and the water in the background, Pancho’s Backyard is the only choice. We had the House Frozen Margarita and a Top Shelf on the rocks. The house is better than an average margarita in your neighborhood Tex-Mex restaurant. We give it 4.5 margarita glasses for the smooth and nicely balanced margarita.
We were told the 16 oz Top Shelf is made with 2 oz Casazul Anejo, fresh lime juice, and Cointreau. The 2 oz pur makes this a respectable margarita, but the lime and Cointreau were not as balanced as we would like. Still, a good margarita that is not too strong or too weak. We give the Top Shelf margarita 4 margarita glasses. The service was perfect and we enjoyed the location.

The hunt continues…..
