"We selected Manuels because of the tequila selection and we were very pleased with the margaritas, food, and the service. We tried eight margaritas and enjoyed all of them. The Watermelon Martini (margarita made with El Tequileno and Cointreau) rated 5 put of 5 margarita glasses. With the juicy watermelon ball fashioned like an olive in the martini glass pushing this twist on a summer favorite to the best Watermelon margarita we have tried on our Hunt for the best margarita in the world. We have tried dozens of Watermelon margaritas and many were very good. This Watermelon Martini (margarita) is the best and would be dangerous on a warm day. The Cucumber Lime Martini (skinny margarita with Don Julio Silver, Contreau, cucumber and lime) and the El Almado made with Don Julio Reposado, St. Germaine, Contreau, fresh lime, Chilie Pequin & Arbol both rated 4.5 margarita glasses. Really good margaritas. We also enjoyed the house margarita and found it light, refreshing, with no bitter lime taste, just fresh lime juice sweetened just enough to make this margarita perfect on the rocks. While margaritas are our focus, we have to mention the food and service at Manuels is excellent. Polina was our server and she provided us with a fine dining experience that was warm and welcoming. The food was great. Reminds us of Hugo Ortega's restaurants in Houston. We will return. The hunt continues!"
