This has been our family’s “go to” Mexican restaurant for many years. Why? Because of the house margarita in a pitcher, Carnes Rancheras pork chops, and Rodrigo López. Mr. Lopez walked around the dining room shaking hands with customers at each table for many years. A really good house margarita, The Classic, excellent service, and good food have kept us coming back. On this visit, we enjoyed The Classic with the green salt on the rim for $5.95! Such a deal ad even better in a pitcher. This is the same recipe served at Lopez’s for 40 years – 5 margarita glasses. And, the El Rey made with Herradura Blanco Tequila, fresh hand-pressed lime juice, Cointreau, and agave nectar for $8.95 This was good with 4 margarita glasses.

Habanero Margarita
"López makes their own Habanero syrup. It add just the right top to a solid house margarita. I prefer the margarita on the rocks, but thr Habanero syrup also works well with the solid López house frozen margarita."
