Pineapple Habanero
House Margarita
Aces & Eights
Another Sunday afternoon and we are on the hunt for a tasty bite as a late lunch / early dinner and a great margarita. This lively decorated restaurant is connected to the iconic Galleria conveniently accessed from the parking lot. Westheimer in font of the Galleria is never easy to navigate and this afternoon was no exception. Once we made it into the parking lot, we were pleasantly surprised to find parking close to the restaurant. The outdoor patio, cool interior décor, open kitchen, and fabulous Te Amo Tequila neon sign, set expectations high for the food and margaritas we ordered.
Visually, everything was perfectly presented. The Pineapple Habanero margarita was good receiving four margarita glasses. The house margarita with the black Himalayan salt gets three margarita glasses.
We always look for a top-shelf and specialty margarita offering. Blanco Tacos offers the Aces & Eights on the menu. A 25-ounce margarita for $18 made with white tequila, Patron Citronge, and a red sangria float It was okay. I gave it three margarita glasses. The lady at the table next to us ordered the Aces margarita after seeing it in front of me, and she liked it a lot, closer to five margarita glasses.
Watermelon and fish ceviche is really good. Definitely worth a try. The visual senses are fully satisfied at Blanco Tacos. We will be back in the future to try new margarita receipes.
