A birthday celebration with friends brought us to the Beach Front Deck Bar and Grill in Surfside. This is a fun outdoor space with a view of the Gulf, plenty of sand, surf sounds, hammocks, and a fire pit in the evening. And of course we wanted to see how their margaritas stand up to our taste testers. There was a nice variety on the menu.
For our first round we decided to try the Pineapple Margarita, the Mojita Rita, and the Rum Rita. We all felt like the drinks tasted like they had been sitting at the bar allowing the ice to melt, and so they seemed a bit watered down. We liked the Pineapple Margarita the best for 3 margarita glasses out of 5, the Mojita Rita 2 1/2 margarita glasses, and the Rum Rita 2 margarita glasses.
Next we tried the Coconut Melon Smash and the Strawberry Mule. Also pictured is the Bahama Mama, but since it is not a margarita we did not rate it. We gave them both 3 margarita glasses.
