A friend of The Great Margarita Hunt recommended Beto and Sons. We visited early evening Saturday and found a busy location that knows how to handle a crowd. They provide a freestanding short bar to serve drinks outside for waiting customers.
We asked the guys at the table next to us to rate the nitro margaritas they were sipping. Unanimously the table rated this unique margarita with the top rating of 5 margarita glasses.
The Liquid Nitrogen Margarita includes Avion Reposado Tequila, Fresh Lime Juice, Agave, DeKuyper 03, and Encapsulated Fruit Pearls. This is the BEST frozen margarita we have enjoyed to date on the hunt for the best margarita in the world. Using liquid nitrogen to freeze the mixture allows the tequila to blend perfectly with the lime juice and agave without the dilution that occurs with ice. The consistency is perfect. The passion fruit pearls on top are a surprising addition. This margarita is brilliant and will bring us back. We give the lime liquid nitrogen margarita 5 margarita glasses.
We also enjoyed several other margaritas. The House Frozen made with El Tesoro Blanco Tequila, DeKuyper 03, Agave, Fresh Lime Juice. We gave it 4 margarita glasses. Beto’s Frozen Margarita includes Tres Generaciones Blanco Tequila, Agave, Grant Marnier, and fresh lime juice. This is a respectable margarita and received 4.5 margarita glasses. Lastly, the Swirls Mango Margarita, made with Hornitos Reposado Tequila was rated with 4 margarita glasses.
We loved the guacamole and salsa options. Food was delicious, but it is the margaritas that will bring us back. Beto and Son’s Liquid Nitrogen Margarita is a serious contender for the best margarita in the world!

TGMH called it. The Nitro Margarita was a delight to the senses – icy and silky and very grown up. In fact it didn’t seem to pack the punch that a lot of margaritas do but don’t let that fool you. This agave margarita is aged in barrels right on site. It is smooth but strong. It is rated 5 margarita glasses.
